Thanks, Chris, for your thoughtfulness.

Though the news is sad, I would have even more sad if I had learned of his passing long after the fact. It would appear his final chapter was brief rather than long, and if so, a blessing.

I had a sense two summers ago that Moe's body was on the wane, but not his mind. And I was concerned that his schedule last summer didn't include the CPSI in St. Paul. At least you and Janet made it.

I'm prepared to make a token gift to CEF/CPSI in Moe's name to support discussions among researchers at CPSI in the spirit of the Research Homebase. Which spirit was exemplified by Moe's credo, "'In God we trust.' All others must have data." For the moment I'm in the position to be able "underwrite" a couple of bags of bagels with cream cheese, but I'd like to put a seed on the table (sesame, of course) in hopes of provoking the contributions of others. Perhaps you can share my aspiration with such powers that be that you know.

Hope you and Janet are well and prospering.

Best,

John Lampland
