Confronting New Educational Challenges and Constraints

Around the world, faculty are being required to cope with new constraints and objectives for their delivery of education.  The techniques explored in the Creative Problem Solving Institute can increase the ability of faculty to adjust to the constant changes in their environment.

First of all, the problem solving techniques can help more effectively identify and clarify the underlying and strategic goals and constraints, and enable individuals and teams/committees to be more fluid and flexible in their thinking, finding ways to not only adapt to change, but to discover and capitalize on new possibilities in the changed situation.

Secondly, the techniques and approaches used by the volunteer faculty of this program can often be adapted to accelerate the education effectiveness of time spent by students in the classroom, interacting through the internet, and carrying out course assignments.
