The Co-Creativity Institute consists of Janet Finley and Christopher Barlow, assisted as necessary by other professionals experienced in leading co-creativity in various disciplines and industries.  The principals have been helping organizations around the world successfully organize, manage, and support the use of multi-discipline teams for more than twenty-five years. Their broad experience and knowledge base enables them to work in any industry, in any technology, in any culture in the world. They have helped hi-tech companies develop new products, helped improve the design of buildings, and helped developing countries increase the indigenous content of their manufactured products.

Dr. Christopher Barlow is a researcher, consultant, professor, and author who has been involved in the management and teaching of team creativity and strategic thinking for more than thirty years.  He has educated managers as a business professor for the last fifteen years, currently serving on the faculty of the College of Business Administration of University of Illinois-Chicago as Director of Experiential Learning as well as Senior Associate of the Howe School Alliance for Technology Management at Stevens Institute of Technology. Previous university teaching experience includes DePaul University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Loyola University , and the University of Findlay where he established their MBA program.  His courses include cross-functional team leadership, ethics, entrepreneurship, business strategy, organizational design, organizational leadership, negotiations, project management, human resources management, and organizational behavior.

His PhD in Organizational Behavior was awarded by Case Western Reserve University for a dissertation on the creativity of multidiscipline teams. He holds a Masters of Science in Creative Studies from Buffalo State College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.

He established and managed a formal Value Management department for Johnson Controls, has served on the Certification Board of the Society of American Value Engineers, is a consulting editor for the Journal of Creative Behavior, and presents and publishes papers on creativity and management.

Janet Finley is an internationally recognized consultant and author on facilitation, team creativity, and strategic planning with more than twenty years of experience leading co-creative design improvement teams in service, construction, manufacturing, and non-profits.

She has been an invited lecturer on innovation, Value Engineering, and team creativity in China , India , Germany , Poland , England , Canada , Taiwan , and the United States . She served as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Society of American Value Engineers and is a Colleague of the Creative Education Foundation.  As a faculty member with the Creative Problem Solving Institute, Janet has taught leaders from around the world concepts of team facilitation, conflict resolution, and organizational culture, as well as tools and techniques of creativity and team building.
